A rapidly growing construction company is searching for their next dedicated Construction Project Manager
SkillQuest Solutions are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager on behalf of our client who specialises in residential and commercial property builds, renovations, and extensions, with their head office based in Hampton Park, Victoria.
Position – Construction Project Manager
Location – Head office: Hampton Park, Victoria. This role requires working on projects across Southeast Melbourne, North Melbourne and Geelong.
Salary - $80,000 - $90,000 plus superannuation per annum, dependent on experience.

THE ROLE:
As their Construction Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work across new builds and renovations, managing resources, subcontractors, and client relationships, while driving operational efficiency and safety on site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Plan, organise, and manage residential and commercial construction projects, interpreting drawings and specifications.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost controls, including trade invoicing and payment approvals.
* Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety, and quality standards, including defect rectification.
* Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants to meet project requirements.
* Resolve project issues promptly and effectively.
* Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and resources.
* Provide leadership to site supervisors and ensure high-performance standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
* Minimum of 1 year (preferably more) proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, ideally in a residential or commercial construction environment.
* Relevant qualification, such as a bachelor's degree or higher, in a related field (or agreed equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and the reading and understanding of construction plans.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, using project management software and spreadsheets.
* Sound financial and budget management experience.
* Knowledge of Australian building codes, safety, and quality standards.
* Current driver's license and White Card.
* Availability to work 5 days across Monday to Saturday.
