Fabricator / Sheetmetal Worker
Location: Osborne, SA. BAE Systems Australia.
Rate: from $44.81. Afternoon and night shifts available. 9‐day fortnight.
Key responsibilities
* Undertake tasks and duties as directed by Production supervision or trades trainer within bounds of current competence.
* Attend and complete relevant on‐the‐job training as required.
* Properly maintain materials, tools and equipment.
* Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes and effectiveness in the work area.
* Adhere to the BAE Maritime Australia policies and management practices.
About you
* Trade qualifications and experience in fabrication with MIG or flux‐core welding.
* Ability to read drawings.
* Robust safety focus and commitment to enhancing the site safety environment.
* Solid time‐keeping abilities.
* Excellent communication skills.
Clearances
As a defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
