Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Manager to lead our team at the aquatic and fitness centre. The successful candidate will have a passion for health, fitness, and community wellbeing, and will be able to combine strong leadership with hands-on, dynamic, and rewarding work.
* Manage a team across aquatics, fitness, and customer service
* Drive engagement and ensure member satisfaction
* Ensure safe and efficient operations in line with workplace health and safety standards
* Build and develop a high-performing team that shares our community values
* Engage with stakeholders, members, and community groups to build strong partnerships
* Oversee maintenance, equipment, retail, and reporting to keep the centre thriving
Requirements
* Experience in gym operations and group fitness delivery
* Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
* Current First Aid, CPR, and Pool Lifeguard Certification (or willingness to train)
* Working With Children Check (NSW) and a Class C Driver's Licence
* Previous experience in aquatic and/or fitness centre supervision
* Bonus points for qualifications in Business, WHS, Training, or Technical Operations
