Job Overview:
The Site Safety Officer plays a vital role in overseeing and representing all Work Health & Safety activities at the site. This position provides advisory services and fosters a positive safety culture.
Key responsibilities include conducting thorough site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks. The Site Safety Officer is also responsible for maintaining and improving Work Health & Safety management systems.
Success in this role requires holding a Diploma or above in Work Health & Safety. A minimum of 5 years' experience on construction or project sites is necessary. Additionally, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, computer skills, and knowledge of safe work practices are essential.
