The Role:
Actively contribute to the clinical leadership and management of a multidisciplinary team, providing a high quality, comprehensive and specialist mental health service.
Provide clinical leadership and expert knowledge in all aspects of inpatient care.
Actively participate in and contribute to OPMHS Quality & Safety and Work Health & Safety processes, including in the development and implementation of safety systems, improvement initiatives, safeguarding practices for vulnerable people, and related training.
You will need:
* Demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to manage and coordinate the clinical activities of a multidisciplinary adult inpatient mental health team.
* Demonstrated specialist level knowledge and advanced practice in relation to the field of acute inpatient psychiatry.
* Demonstrated capacity to effectively undertake a consultation/leadership role within a multidisciplinary adult inpatient setting.
Details of appointment:
Permanent, full time, day worker (with on-call) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $114,851 to $121,886 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

* Payment of $15,000 staged over three years is available for Nurses and Midwives who move to Tasmania from interstate and remain employed full time for three years or more.

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
