Are you a skilled financial modeller looking to apply your expertise to the renewable energy sector? We are seeking an experienced Associate Financial Modeller to join our Business Intelligence unit, working closely with our Strategic Finance team.\
\
The core responsibility of this role is to develop and maintain financial models that underpin our businesses, providing insights into fund management, investment, asset management, and development.\
\
This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex financial modelling projects, leveraging your technical skills and experience to drive business decisions.\
\
Key Responsibilities:
\

1. Develop and maintain financial models, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and suitability for use.
\
2. Consolidate asset performance and macro inputs to drive insights into past and forward estimates of performance.
\
3. Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis at a portfolio level to assess the impact of various equity exposures.
\
4. Provide clear articulation of key messages and insights to internal and external stakeholders.
\
5. Maintain and operate various asset and fund level models, integrating yourself with all aspects of the business.
\
6. Onboard new assets into operating asset models from their relevant investment models post-acquisition.
\
7. Refresh models with updates to economic, pricing, cost, and generation level inputs, ensuring rigor and best practice.
\
8. Assist in liaising with model auditors and making relevant changes to models.
\\
9. Ad hoc requests.
\\

\
Requirements:
\
\
10. Fluency in Microsoft Excel, VBA, and financial modelling best practices.
\
11. Previous experience in a professional services modelling team or formal training in modelling best practices.
\
12. Experience in real asset (infrastructure, real estate, renewable energy) model development and operations.
\
13. Accounting qualification or similar.
