Change Analyst About the Role The Change Analyst supports the delivery of change management and communication activities across a portfolio of complex initiatives and reform programs. Reporting to the Manager of Change Management, this role contributes to the successful planning, coordination, integration, and adoption of change across the organisation. The role is responsible for supporting overarching change governance, engaging stakeholders to build buy-in and alignment, and providing implementation and integration advice to ensure initiatives are effectively embedded into business operations. It also plays an important role in supporting workforce transition activities, business readiness, communication planning, and organisational adoption during key implementation periods. Key Responsibilities The primary accountabilities of the Change Analyst include: Plan and deliver change management activities in line with the organisation’s change management framework to support complex projects and reform initiatives. Develop and maintain change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis, and other core change artefacts. Support the development and delivery of change and communication plans aligned with program and project delivery milestones. Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities and prepare communication materials to support awareness, understanding, and adoption. Support business readiness activities, including training coordination, transition planning, and implementation support. Maintain reporting inputs and divisional progress updates to support oversight of change delivery across the portfolio. Work collaboratively with portfolio change teams, project managers, business units, and change champions to socialise, integrate, and embed change into organisational culture and operations. Support stakeholder engagement planning, including identification of appropriate engagement approaches to achieve strategic alignment and effective adoption outcomes. Assist with workforce transition planning, including consideration of technology impacts where relevant. Support the transition of change initiatives into business-as-usual operations through effective collaboration across internal and external stakeholder groups. Build and maintain strong working relationships to guide, coordinate, and integrate change activities associated with strategic priorities and reform objectives. Provide advice to leaders and stakeholders on change progress, observations, risks, and transition readiness. Contribute to the communication and translation of reform initiatives for key stakeholder groups in collaboration with colleagues across the broader transformation or program environment. Provide surge support during peak delivery periods and major implementation milestones. Contribute to a culture of collaboration, evidence-based decision-making, accountability, innovation, and high performance. Undertake other duties as required. Role Suitability This role is suited to an experienced change professional who can operate effectively as an individual contributor within a complex program or reform environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong applied knowledge, skills, and experience across change delivery, communications, stakeholder engagement, and business readiness. Essential Experience and Capability The ideal applicant will demonstrate: Experience developing and delivering change management, communication, and engagement strategies within large-scale project or program environments. Strong knowledge of contemporary and best-practice change management frameworks and methodologies. Sound understanding of project management principles, change processes, and business integration strategies. Experience analysing operating processes and systems within a complex, multi-site organisation. Demonstrated capability supporting transformation initiatives across large and complex organisations. High-level interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, negotiate effectively, and influence stakeholders on sensitive or complex matters. Strong written communication skills, including experience preparing a range of clear, professional materials for diverse audiences. The ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to support implementation, integration, and sustained business adoption. Highly Regarded The following would be viewed favourably: Experience working within a complex service delivery or operational environment. Experience supporting reform or transformation in a highly regulated, industrially sensitive, or operationally complex setting. Industry-recognised qualifications or certification in change management. Formal qualifications in business, human resources, project management, or a related discipline.
