About the role:
Custodial Health Service (CHS) forms part of the Custody Management Division within the State Emergencies & Support Command of Victoria Police. CHS provides clinical care and advice to those held in Victoria Police custody at the Melbourne Custody Centre and Victoria Police stations across Victoria; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The role of Administrative Support will be responsible for the execution of professional and efficient support that contributes to the delivery of quality nursing care by being responsible for reception, administrative, requisitioning and filing of medical records for the Custodial Health Service.
We currently have one full time ongoing VPSG2 Administrative Support position available within CHS.

Your duties will include:
1. Liaising with internal/external stakeholders to obtain health information
2. Transferring medical records to prisons
3. Scanning
4. Filing and archiving
5. Data entry
As the successful applicant, you will have:
6. Previous clerical/reception experience in the hospital/health care environment.
7. High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work in an interactive environment as well as work with minimal supervision.
10. Demonstrated computer literacy with MS Office, SAP and relevant databases.
11. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a harmonious team environment.
12. Well-developed planning, prioritisation and time management skills.

14. This position is located at Victoria Police Centre 311 Spencer St Docklands and Melbourne Custody Centre 520 Lonsdale St, Melbourne.
15. This position requires shift work as indicated in the Position Description (as attached to the advertisement).
16. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
17. The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
