Job Opportunity: Clinical Governance Specialist
The Pharmacy department is seeking a part-time Clinical Governance Specialist to join the team and contribute to ensuring high-quality, safe, comprehensive medicines policy and practice.
* Support the delivery, management, and evaluation of clinical governance initiatives within the Trust.
* Develop and maintain patient information resources, including leaflets and online content.
* Collaborate with pharmacy teams and departments on patient-focused care, information, and counselling services.
* Support the management of new drug and non-formulary requests as needed.
* Provide patient and carer education, and close liaison across the interface.
* Liaise with pharmacy staff, doctors, and GPs to ensure efficient transfer of medicines management issues.
* Participate in clinical audit, research, and quality improvement activities.
* Supervise and train junior and rotational pharmacy staff within Pharmacy and at ward level.
* Deliver education and training for healthcare professionals within and outside the Trust.
