Job Title: Plough Crew/Plant Operator
Are you a skilled operator with experience in operating heavy machinery? Do you have a strong background in civil activities, laboring duties, and rod, rope, and hauling operations? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plough Crew/Plant Operator to join our team.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the installation of optic fiber cables for the Telstra network on the Inter City Fibre Network (ICF) project. This role requires working in remote locations across regional NSW, often on a 21-day on / 7-day off roster. You will work alongside an inclusive site team and receive a generous living away from home allowance whilst traveling.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the installation of optic fiber cables for the Telstra network
* Operate heavy machinery, including dozers, excavators, vacuum trucks, winches, mobile cranes, and HR trucks
* Perform civil activities, such as repairing blockages and quality checks
* Undertake laboring duties, including cutting and repairing fences, excavation using hand and mechanical methods
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A current driver's license
* A current Construction White card
* Any of the following tickets is beneficial but not essential: Current HR Heavy Rigid truck license, Operator & VOC Excavator, Operator & VOC Dozer, Pit, Pipe & Cable Hauling course, Current senior first aid certificate, Current level 2 traffic management implementation course, Work safety at heights, Asbestos awareness certificate, High Risk License, Vehicle loading crane, Dogman / Rigger
