Electrical Fitter Role
We are looking for skilled and experienced Electrical Fitters to join our team. As an Electrical Fitter, you will play a vital role in helping build smarter energy systems that keep communities connected.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of DC systems and electrical assembly, with experience in assembling and manufacturing LV and ELV systems to engineering and safety standards.
* Assemble and manufacture LV and ELV systems to engineering and safety standards
* Work with DC systems, experience essential, panel building highly regarded
* Install, test, commission and maintain electrical components for community battery and SAPS projects
* Troubleshoot, repair and keep systems performing reliably
* Operate a forklift safely, valid licence required
* Complete clear documentation, test results and maintenance records
* Work closely with engineers, project managers and other trades
* Maintain a tidy, safe workspace aligned with WHS, Environmental and Quality systems
* Take part in ongoing training and skill development
Requirements
* Negotiable licence or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter
* Strong knowledge of DC systems and electrical assembly
* Panel building or programming skills are an advantage
* A steady, proactive approach with a focus on safety and quality
* Good communication and time management skills
