Senior Asset Manager Job
This is a high-profile leadership role for an experienced people leader to drive change and high-performance across a diverse portfolio of key services.
* Lead and develop staff in the asset & capital planning department responsible for asset systems, asset planning, drainage, administration support, and OHS compliance. Combine technical expertise with a strong customer focus.
* Review policies and practices within the department to ensure they are appropriate, efficient, and responsive to customer needs and expectations.
* Engage with the community and partners using data, records, policies, procedures, and practices in place and updated for cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable management of Council's assets.
* Drive the effective use and development of Council's asset management system and processes with a focus on long-term planning, investment, and use.
* Develop and monitor compliance with Council's Road Management Plan, including completion of asset inspections and monitoring status of works requests.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* Demonstrated senior experience in strategic or operational asset management issues, including asset planning, design, construction, or maintenance.
* Strong asset systems (including GIS) experience is critical, along with knowledge and experience in civil asset and drainage design. Develop strategies for providing services through infrastructure.
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering, asset management, infrastructure, or a related discipline.
