Hunter Executive is pleased to be partnering with a privately owned, liquid storage manufacturing company to find a results-driven **Business Development Executive** to grow their Victorian business.
Our client is already forecasting a 25% year on year growth Nationally and have a solid base of current clients operating on key projects across the country with systems in place that allow you to produce quotes quickly.
They have a global quality product and a strong reputation in the **water treatment, civil and chemical markets** for being the supplier of choice for standard & customised liquid storage solutions on key projects.
**The Person**:
To be successful you will have previous experience in a solution focused Business Development role, ideally within heavy manufacturing/ industrial sales or project sales, have mechanical/technical aptitude, and demonstrable experience winning business with new & existing corporate customers.
You will also require effective communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships with key project stakeholders including engineering design companies seeking specification / budget quotes, tier 1 contractors through to the end customer purchasing the liquid storage solution (water treatment, civil, chemical contractor).
**The 'ideal' person will have**:
- Exceptional communication and negations skills
- Be business savvy with a mechanical / technical aptitude
- Previous experience in a similar business development / account management role
- Proven ability to negotiate and win business with corporate clients
- The ability to initiate and develop strong relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
- Experience working to and exceeding targets
- Be a strategic, analytical thinker with the ability to up sell
- Salesforce experience is advantageous
**The Role**
- Prospect new business and sell a range of Engineered Liquid Storage Solutions
- Manage, retain, and build relationships and increase the number of key contacts with existing clients
- Prepare and provide a high volume of quotes (incoming and new) ranging from $23k - $70k
- Developing growth strategies and plans
- Negotiating with stakeholders
- Identify and map business strengths and customer needs
- Follow industry trends locally and internationally
- Estimating and working with engineering team for costing of proposals
- Attend trade shows and other business-related events for the result of increasing sales
- Manage and maintain Sales Pipeline to required level
