**Responsibilities**:
- Clean and tidy living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces, following established cleaning procedures and standards. 
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene. 
- Make beds, change linen, and replace towels to ensure a fresh and inviting atmosphere for residents or guests. 
- Empty trash bins, dispose of waste, and properly handle recycling materials. 
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished. 
- Collaborate with other house cleaning team members to ensure productive and effective cleaning operations. 
- Respond promptly to guest or resident requests for housekeeping services and address any specific cleaning preferences or needs. 
- Report any maintenance or repair issues observed during cleaning activities to the appropriate department. 
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents, promote safe work practices, and ensure the well-being of occupants and staff. 
- Uphold a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with residents, guests, and colleagues.
**Requirements**:
- ABN Required as an independent contractor 
- Must have Car and licence or reliable ability to travel between jobs 
- Must have own cleaning equipment & Products 
- Requires Police check 
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper, Cleaner, or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and standards. (preferable but not required) 
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment. 
- Ability to use cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies safely and effectively. 
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents, guests, and team members. 
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying cleaning equipment and supplies. 
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to follow cleaning protocols. 
- Knowledge of basic safety practices and procedures related to cleaning and sanitation.
