How you’ll make a difference
* Assisting Hepburn shire council with our resource recovery operations.
* Engaging with the community and providing excellent customer service
* This role involves working outdoors, manual handling and operating plant and equipment in line with safety procedures
Our ideal candidate
* Demonstrated experience working in a waste transfer facility or similar environment.
* Experience in the operation of mechanical plant and equipment.
* Basic computer skills to administer cash handling and balancing duties and other systems.
* Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts, weekends and public holidays, and work in a team environment.
* Good communication skills to enable professional and effective interaction with all contacts.
* Ability to demonstrate the display the Hepburn Shire Council values of accountability, respect, excellence, trust and fun.

You’ll require a current Victorian Driver’s Licence, a satisfactory criminal history check and a General Construction Induction (White Card). Additional tickets are desirable or can be obtained.
