Personal Care Assistant

This is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents.

We are seeking experienced and passionate Personal Care Assistants to join our dedicated team on a permanent full-time basis. Our residents deserve the best care possible, and we need your help to create a safe and welcoming environment for them.

* Providing high-quality care that supports residents' independence by meeting their daily living and personal requirements within their individual care plans.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent and at least one year of experience as a Personal Care Assistant in a Residential Aged Care home. They will also be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities:

* Assisting with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, toileting, assisting with meals service, mobility, and social support.
* Providing direct resident care including assisting with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, and toileting.
* Preparing the resident dining rooms for meal service and cleaning away at the end of a meal service.
* Enhancing the resident experience through building great relationships with residents and their family members and responding quickly to feedback.


Requirements:

* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
* At least one year of experience as a Personal Care Assistant in a Residential Aged Care home.
* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
* Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents.
* Excellent time-management and prioritization skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety.
