About the role
We're seeking an experienced Accounting /Finance professional to join our team at our Lara site. This role suits a confident, hands‑on person who enjoys being across the detail — debits, credits, AP, AR — while also providing practical finance support to the business.
You'll work closely with our AP and AR Specialists as backup and support along with the Finance Business Partners and Financial Controller providing end‑to‑end support in contributing to accurate reporting and smooth business processes.
What You'll Be Doing
* Processing month‑end journals and preparing balance sheet reconciliations
* End‑to‑end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable support
* Daily bank reconciliations and cash management
* Reconciling intercompany loans
* Processing staff reimbursements
* Supporting monthly management accounts and variance analysis
* Assisting with year‑end audit and preparation of financial statements
* Creating and maintaining clear finance procedures and documentation
* Providing practical finance support to operational teams
* Supporting ad‑hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
You're a capable, detail‑driven finance professional who enjoys supporting the business beyond just the numbers.
* Proven bookkeeping / accounting experience in a medium to large business
* Strong working knowledge of debits, credits, AP, AR and reconciliations
* Experience supporting month‑end processes
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication skills and confidence working with non‑finance stakeholders
* High levels of discretion and professionalism
* Intermediate to strong MS Office skills (particularly Excel)
* A collaborative, flexible approach and willingness to pitch in
Practical, hands‑on experience is essential; formal accounting qualifications are well regarded but not essential.
