Department Leadership Role
A dedicated and dynamic leader is sought to join the leadership team as Department Head, Pathways and Partnerships.
This exciting role involves leading curriculum initiatives aligned with departmental priorities, contributing to delivering the school's vision, enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, and fostering strong relationships with students, staff, and the wider community.
About the Role
* Lead career education and transition support for students in Years 7 to 12, including organizing work experience, mock interviews, and traineeship sign-ups.
* Oversee the school's VET programs and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver meaningful student opportunities.
* Contribute to the department's curriculum leadership in line with departmental priorities, support high-quality teaching and learning, and foster positive relationships among students, staff, and the wider community.
Responsibilities
* Provide career guidance and support to students, and organize events related to pathways in the school, including SET planning.
* Manage all VET activities, including RTO management and liaising with external RTOs.
* Line manage Year 10 staff and support staff.
* Behave in a manner that sets an example for Year 10 students.
This role plays a key part in shaping successful futures through strong partnerships and strategic program delivery.
