Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee and stakeholder HR queries, resolving issues with professionalism and clarity.
- Apply HR policies and processes consistently to ensure compliance and fairness across the board.
- Maintain accurate employee and organisational data in our HR systems, perform data checks and generate reports as needed.
- Support the team in process improvement initiatives and help develop new administrative procedures.
- Prepare and deliver timely and clear communications and correspondence for employees.
- Monitor system functionality and help identify opportunities to improve HR systems and workflows.
- Act as a second-tier escalation point for more complex queries, supporting the broader team on their path to becoming trusted HR Advisors.
Qualifications
- Proven HR administration experience, ideally in a large and/or complex organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in applying HR policies, processes and systems.
- Confidence in interpreting and applying enterprise agreements.
- Experience utilising HR technologies and systems (e.g., HRIS platforms).
- Sound problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated high attention to detail in all aspects of HR operations.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work across teams and functions.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field are highly regarded.
