Hamilton Island is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join the team at our staff dining facility, the Rainforest Cafe. Located in the heart of the island, this café serves daily meals to over 1,200 employees – fuelling the people behind the exceptional guest experiences Hamilton Island is known for.

Your Role
As a Chef de Partie at Rainforest Cafe, you'll take ownership of your section, preparing fresh, nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service. You'll help deliver a diverse, rotating menu – from homestyle classics to themed nights – while maintaining high kitchen standards and working closely with the wider team.

* Support and guide junior staff during service.

What We're Looking For
You're an experienced and reliable Chef with a strong work ethic, great time management, and a passion for quality food. You're ready to take responsibility for your section and grow your skills in a dynamic kitchen.
To Be Successful, You Will Need:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Essential).
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef.
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (preferred or willingness to obtain).
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
* Flexible approach to working across breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.
