We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Inventory & Assembly Technician to join our mobile maintenance team. This role requires a mechanically minded individual comfortable working in a physical workshop environment and committed to high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
">
* Control and manage all spares, repairables, and workshop inventory
* Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective supply of materials and stock
* Support material planning, purchase requisitions, and usage tracking via SAP and Excel
* Assist with mechanical assembly, hydraulic hose fabrication, and calibration testing
* Maintain workshop cleanliness, equipment checks, and safety compliance
* Identify inventory optimisation opportunities and implement improvements
* Operate forklifts and workshop equipment (LF licence or willingness to obtain)
Required Skills and Qualifications

* Mechanically inclined with a hands-on, proactive approach
* Proficient or willing to learn SAP and Microsoft Office
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
* Forklift licence (LF) or willingness to obtain
* Trade background or experience in plant maintenance desirable but not essential
* Strong understanding of safety culture and OHS requirements
* Self-motivated, systematic, and team-focused
* Able to translate business needs into practical workshop solutions
