Small Business Banker Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused professional to join our Small Business Banking team as a Relationship Manager.
About the Position
* Undertake sales-related activities for a portfolio of small business customers across various industries.
* Build strong relationships with business partners to identify new business opportunities and support our customers' needs.
* Action and manage leads in Salesforce, ensuring effective follow-up and conversion.
* Engage in retention activities to maintain existing customer relationships and prevent account churn.
* Conduct thorough credit analysis and approve requests for temporary excesses or increased limit requirements.
* Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced bankers within the team and develop their skills.
* Manage lending and product requests for small business customers, providing holistic banking solutions.
* Assess customers' business needs to deliver tailored financial products and services.
* Take ownership of managing customer complaints and escalations until resolution is achieved.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
* A background in agriculture or agribusiness would be advantageous.
* Demonstrated experience in a lending or relationship management capacity.
* Strong experience in managing customer relationships and the credit process.
* A solid understanding of financial markets and business acumen.
* Excellent problem-solving, time management, critical thinking, and negotiation skills.
