**Service Technician**
Our client is an award winning, nationally based company with branches in every state, and part of a global group of companies. They deal directly with the fresh produce / Agriculture industry in producing labelling and packing equipment, including consumables and supply to the FMCG Retail chains and wholesale markets in Australia.
Due to extensive growth we are seeking to appoint an additional Service Technician in the Brisbane region on a long-term basis to assist in keeping up with the busy demand in the service department. You will work from the Brisbane Branch and have a mix of work at the Brisbane Markets while also responding to breakdowns and maintenance work travelling from North NSW to Far North QLD also travelling inland to agriculture pack houses across the state.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Installation and preventative maintenance on equipment and products provided by the company.
- Ongoing technical support to customers in line with company standards and communication tools.
- Maintain positive, professional communication with Customers, Suppliers and Colleagues.
- Document relevant activities in accordance with service standards.
- Ensure all works are completed in an accurate, timely and professional manner.
- Comply with all on-site regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite and competency with basic technology
- Day to day activities are typically within the Brisbane region
- Weekly or Fortnightly Travel including overnight stays around regional QLD is a requirement for this role
- Additional interstate and overseas travel may be required.

**Minimum requirement**:
- Trade or industry background essential
- Ideally trade qualified or apprentice electrician
- Valid driver's license
This role is well suited to someone with good tool, mechanical and electrical skills. An open-minded logical thinker who can work on the on the run and establish good relations with the customers.
