About the Role

The Clinical Midwife (RN/M2C) delivers advanced nursing and/or midwifery care across diverse health settings, building expertise through experience and continued professional development. At this level, nurses progress from proficient practitioners to emerging clinical leaders.

They take full responsibility for their own practice standards, confidently manage delegated activities, and play a key role in guiding and supporting less experienced colleagues.

While maintaining a primarily clinical focus, Clinical Nurses are also entrusted with meaningful portfolio responsibilities, tailored to their career aspirations and agreed upon through ongoing performance and development planning.

As a Registered Midwife (RN/M1), you'll deliver essential nursing and/or midwifery care across a variety of health service settings, growing from a novice practitioner to a confident, proficient professional. This role offers continuous opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills through hands‑on experience and ongoing professional development.

You will take ownership of your own practice standards while responsibly managing tasks delegated to others, making a meaningful impact on patient care every day.
