**Job Title:** Support Worker
This role involves providing in-home support services to valued customers, enabling them to live independently and maintain a strong connection with their local community.
About the Role:
* Assist customers with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistance.
* Provide social support and transportation for activities such as shopping, traveling to medical appointments, and participating in social events.
* Offer domestic assistance, including light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
* Support customers in using aids and personal equipment, as well as assisting those with complex needs.
* Monitor customer well-being and report progress.
* Provide updates on customer progress following each service.
Requirements:
* Excellent interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication skills.
* Able to build rapport and establish good working relationships.
* Comfortable using technology, such as mobile apps, for accessing rosters and recording customer notes/feedback.
Necessary Documents:
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
* Current First Aid certificate/CPR.
* Current Australian Drivers License.
* Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle.
* Smart phone with internet access.
* Current Working with Children Check (preferred).
* Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services (preferred).
