Our PwC Private Business Tax team helps high-profilepanies, large privately-owned organisations, innovative start-ups as well as multinational corporations with spectacular results.
The team builds trusted relationships with businesses in various industries, supporting them in making informed decisions, andplying with ie tax obligations.
We're looking for a Senior Associate or Manager to join our vastmunity of solvers.
Use the know-how you've gained in Tax consulting and Taxpliance as a foundation to build your leadership skills and grow our Business Tax Team. Working with private businesses and corporate groups, you will make an impact here by building relationships with clients, managing projects, developing your technical knowledge and delivering high quality outputs.
With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of opportunities to create change.
As an expert in tax, within our PwC Private Business Tax team, you'll make a real impact. You'll also use your CA, CPA or other accounting, business and legal qualifications to:
1. Work with clients across a wide range of industries including property, agriculture, medical, and mining through all stages of their business life cycle including growth and succession/exit, developing solutions for theplex problems that arise in each stage
2. Work onplex corporate taxpliance and consulting advice, domestic tax issues including consolidation and restructuring advice, international tax matters, and involvement in M&A transactions (including undertaking tax due diligence and acquisition tax structuring)
3. Apply practical skills and experience to clients supporting them in making informed decisions, andplying with ie tax obligations
4. Liaise with the ATO in relation to Top 500 and Next 5000 programs
5. Manage and coach teams of junior staff members
Key Characteristics required are:
6. Established tax and accounting skills (3+ years) with desire to increaseplexity and size of assignments.
7. Developing tax consulting skills on a range of broad tax matters relevant to business and corporate clients with desire to increase knowledge and skills.
