Are you an experienced Warehouse & Forklift Operator seeking a new challenge? Costa invites you to join us at our Brisbane-based business that provides marketing services for growers' produce through our market floor. We are a small team looking for enthusiastic people who want to upskill and develop a career within our business.
Position
- Warehouse & Forklift Operator
Location
Rocklea, Brisbane
Shifts
Monday to Sunday, 2am - 9am
Role Type
This is a hybrid role. You will be required to complete pick packing and/or palletising duties, other manual handling tasks, as well as forklift operating duties.

Who We’re Looking For
- Current forklift operator with pick packing experience
- Experience working with fresh produce in a busy market environment
- Ability to communicate across teams and plan ahead
- Availability to work 5-6 days for a 2am start, including occasional weekends if required
What You’ll Be Doing
- Safe and effective forklift transporting and tracking of fresh produce, loading and unloading of containers and trucks
- Daily pre-starts and equipment checks to proactively identify maintenance issues
- Receiving and Despatch work
- Picking and Packing orders, manual handling
- Other duties to assist despatch staff, as required
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Current Forklift License essential
- Previous experience working in Fresh Produce Markets desirable
- Understanding of perishable goods picking, stock rotation and expiry date sorting
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- A cool head under pressure and ability to work in a diverse team
