VC Maintenance is part of the Vassallo Group of companies which have been providing services in the Mackay Region since 1997.
VC Maintenance's focus is on maintaining our fleet of Earthmoving, Quarrying, Road Haulage, and Light Vehicles along with providing high quality repairs and services for external clients.
The Positions
Due to sustained business growth, we are excited to offer multiple trade positions for qualified tradespeople to join our team based at our Mackay Northern Beaches Workshop.
- Diesel Fitters
- Truck Mechanics
- Light Vehicle Mechanics
- Auto Electricians
For an immediate start we require tradespeople with a "Can Do" attitude and a passion for all things mechanical.
The roles on offer are for Field Service and Workshop positions to support our diverse fleet of Earthmoving, Quarrying, Road Haulage and Light Vehicles.
Working Monday to Friday day shift only - with Saturday Work as required.
Immediate Start.

Working in Mackay - Be Home Every Night.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Earthmoving & Quarrying equipment, Road Haulage Trucks and Light Vehicles.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal reliability.
- Be able to troubleshoot and identify technical issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working workplace.
Qualifications & Key Attributes:
- Trade qualified.
- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of maintaining earthmoving equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Hold a current Australian Driver's license and be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles
- Refrigerant handling license (desired but not essential)
- A valid HC Driver's license (desired but not essential)
As part of the recruitment process for this role you may be required to complete a pre-employment medical, inclusive of laboratory drug and alcohol screen and complete criminal history and qualification checks.
