About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our Oporto Dubbo restaurant. In this hands-on role, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, manage and support the team, ensure food safety and compliance, and maintain high standards of service and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures
Supervise, train, and roster staff to meet business needs
Handle stock control, ordering, and inventory management
Oversee cash handling, banking, and sales reporting
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
Record and monitor temperature logs and compliance documents
Drive sales and deliver excellent customer experiences
Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions
Ensure completion of Oporto’s online training modules and monthly safety training
Liaise with area management and implement operational improvements
Skills & Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a retail or fast-food management role
Solid leadership and team management abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Sound knowledge of food safety and compliance requirements
Proven ability to manage budgets, stock, and sales targets
Reliable, organised, and motivated to achieve results
