Positions Available: Sommeliers
We are seeking passionate wine professionals at all levels. Whether you're developing your skills as a Junior Sommelier or bringing seasoned expertise to a leadership role, this is your chance to work within a hatted, highly respected restaurant. You'll contribute to a standout wine program under the guidance of Amanda Yallop, Fink's Group Wine Director and a leading voice in Australia's wine scene.
What You Bring
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a quality establishment
* Formal qualifications in wine or hospitality
* Strong understanding of wine, food pairing, and premium service
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
* Proven track record of maintaining high service standards
* Familiarity with operational systems and procedures
* Full knowledge of RSA requirements and compliance
* Ability to stay composed and efficient during busy service periods
* Full Australian working rights
* Availability for evenings and weekends
* Ability to start as soon as possible
Your Responsibilities
* Supporting and guiding a skilled service team
* Creating and managing cost-effective rosters
* Training and mentoring staff to uphold service excellence
* Assisting with event preparation and execution
* Conducting stocktakes and managing wine ordering
* Delivering polished, professional service and resolving guest concerns
* Managing reservations and warmly welcoming guests on arrival
