Our client is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Roadworker to join their team on a fixed-term contract based in Mardi, NSW. This role is ideal for candidates with construction or maintenance experience who are looking for consistent weekday work with occasional night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with road maintenance and construction activities
* Work safely in live traffic environments
* Perform general labouring duties as required
* Follow safety procedures, site instructions, and code of conduct requirements
Working Hours
* Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:30pm
* Night work: Occasional night shifts from 6:00pm (8-hour shifts)
* Weekends: No weekend work required
* Living Away from Home: No
Licences & Tickets Required:
* White Card
* Workers on Foot (WOF) (can be completed post-commencement if deemed suitable)
Preferred:
* Traffic Control qualification
Skills & Experience
* Previous construction or maintenance experience highly regarded
* Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
* Strong safety awareness and reliability
Checks & Compliance (Mandatory)
* Successful Police Check
* Two reference checks
* Right to work in Australia
