Location and Employment Details
* Location – Parramatta (Hybrid environment)
* Employment type – Ongoing full-time, 35 hours per week
* Grade – Clerk Grade 11/12
* Salary – $149,739 pa - $173,174 pa plus employers' contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
Lead the financial strategy and reporting function that supports high-level decision-making for the Women, Family and Community Safety directorate in NSW Department of Communities and Justice. In this senior role, you'll manage complex projects, guide a high-performing team, and deliver expert financial insights to the Executive. Your work will directly contribute to aligning resources with the Directorate's strategic priorities and driving impactful outcomes.
What You'll Do
Leading the Strategic Reporting team, you'll lead strategic reporting, financial planning and analysis to support executive decision-making and drive strategic outcomes. You'll develop models, forecasts, and performance reports, manage budgets, and provide expert advice on financial impacts across services.
You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment alongside a skilled and supportive team who value attention to detail and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a finance professional with experience in accounting, audit, risk, or financial management, who can bring strategic insight and strong analytical skills to the team.
Essential Requirements
* A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or finance
* Full membership of a recognised professional accounting body
* Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
* A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
