Overview
nbn is hiring for a Senior Industry Communications Partner, reporting to the Executive Manager, Industry Marketing and Communications. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity.
A bit about your role
You will lead the development and delivery of nbn’s Industry Communications program, ensuring Retail Service Providers and Partners receive timely, relevant and purposeful communications across operational, contractual, commercial and promotional domains. You will act as a trusted communications partner to the business, translating complex technical information into clear, commercially focused messages that support service and sales outcomes.
This is a high-volume, high-pace role in a regulated environment requiring precision, agility and ownership. You will manage editorial calendars, publishing workflows, and traffic management to ensure communications are delivered efficiently. You will play a key role in crisis and emergency communications, bringing calm and clarity when it matters most. With experience using communications platforms and automation tools, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Manager, you will help drive content publishing and management innovation.
A bit about you
- You are a proactive and methodical communicator with deep experience in B2B environments, ideally within large, complex organisations.
- You bring a commercial mindset and can translate technical and operational information into audience-relevant messaging.
- You can work independently, be agile, lead informal teams and manage time-sensitive publishing cycles.
- You thrive in structured, process-driven environments and are comfortable navigating editorial workflows and automation tools.
- You have crisis communications experience and remain composed under pressure.
- You bring a collaborative spirit and a commitment to helping the business communicate with purpose, clarity and impact.
