About the Role
As a Yard Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing yard operations and ensuring the safe and efficient check-in, storage, and movement of vehicles and other assets. This role is critical to maintaining smooth operations and delivering a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage yard operations including check-in, cleaning, photography, and storage of vehicles and assets.
* Operate loaders and forklifts to move vehicles safely within the yard.
* Conduct regular yard inspections to maintain safety, security, and cleanliness.
* Verify documentation and asset condition during check-in.
* Coordinate with transport providers for timely delivery and removal of assets.
* Assist customers and stakeholders on-site, ensuring a positive experience.
* Maintain accurate records of yard activities and report operational updates.
What We're Looking For
* Mandatory: Current driver's licence and High Risk Forklift Licence.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
* Physical capability to perform yard tasks, including lifting and moving assets.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
Highly Regarded
* Experience in automotive, auction, or salvage industries.
