We have a brand-new opportunity in our exciting Private Label team for a ESG & Supplier Compliance Lead reporting to the Head of Private Label Non-Food International, Product and ESG.
Key tasks include:
Understand business priorities and requirements regarding ESG, primarily with Private Label
Support the Head of PL Non-Food International, Product & ESG with the build of ESG processes, policies and processes.
Co-ordination and ongoing management of Petbarn Supplier governance processes and requirements, with PL as priority, across Modern Slavery and Environmental standards and protocols
Adhere to timelines and critical deadlines to ensure delivery of initiatives in line with all process requirements.
Working collaboratively as ESG liaison with key internal stakeholders across PL, Category, Sourcing and ESG Working Groups
Key ESG contact for Retail supplier partnerships, new and current, with ongoing maintenance of supplier ESG information, documentation and action plans.
Maintenance and accuracy of all ESG reporting trackers.
Maintain supplier scorecard to track, report and manager supplier performance.
Support with any reporting (not limited) when required.
You must have:
You must have demonstrated supplier management experience, be commercially savvy with outstanding attention to detail.
You will have confidence in working across the supplier network with the ability to build a supplier scorecard.
5 years plus years of experience in a Category or Sourcing Manager role, preferably with Private Label &/or ESG experience
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proven ability to be organised, to prioritise, be flexible and excellent time management skills
Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (with an emphasis on excel and PowerPoint)
Proactive, shows initiative and drive to achieve results
Reasoned problem solving - identifying issues, providing solutions.
