About The Role
They are currently delivering a major wind farm blade replacement project in regional Queensland. We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join a high-performing project team supporting a large-scale wind turbine blade replacement program. This is a FIFO or DIDO role, working on a rotational roster, supporting site-based construction and maintenance activities across a live wind farm environment.
You will play a key role in driving safety leadership, supporting frontline teams, and ensuring compliance across all high-risk activities associated with wind turbine blade replacement works.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day HSE support across site-based wind farm operations
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and verification of critical control measures
* Support high-risk work activities including lifting operations, working at heights, and blade handling
* Lead and facilitate toolbox talks, pre-starts, and safety engagements with crews
* Assist in incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action tracking
* Ensure compliance with company systems, procedures, and legislative requirements
* Promote a strong safety culture across contractors and project teams
* Work closely with supervisors and project leadership to identify and manage risk
* Maintain accurate HSE reporting and documentation
To Be Successful
* Proven experience in HSE roles within wind farm, renewables, construction, or heavy industrial environments
* Strong understanding of particularly working at heights and lifting operations
* Ability to influence and engage frontline teams in a site-based environment
* Confident in conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations
* Strong communication skills with a practical, hands‐on approach to safety
* Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
* Ability to work FIFO or DIDO roster in a remote project location
* Previous experience on wind or energy infrastructure projects highly regarded
