The Role & Your Impact
You will make sure our packaging designs are practical and meet our high-quality standards. In this role, you will lead the implementation of packaging solutions that ensure our products are innovative, sustainable, and optimised for high-speed production.
Key Responsibilities
* Innovation & Sourcing: Partner with Marketing and R&D to source packaging that meets customer needs while prioritising logistics and efficiency.
* Sustainability & Compliance: Stay ahead of legislation and APCO/EPR requirements to ensure all designs are environmentally responsible.
* Technical Integrity: Create and maintain specifications, technical drawings, and documentation within SAP.
* Production Partnership: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Packing Hall, resolving functionality issues and driving line efficiencies.

Essential Requirements
* Experience: Proven experience in packaging development or a related technical field.
* Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of GMP compliance and quality standards.
* Project Management: Ability to manage complex project timelines and liaise with diverse departments like R&D, Marketing, and Engineering.
* Technical Proficiency: Experience maintaining technical drawings and specifications.
Desirable Requirements
* System Knowledge: Previous experience using SAP for specification maintenance.
* Qualifications: Science or Engineering degree minimum.
* Industry Experience: Familiarity with APCO or EPR sustainability reporting.
