About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the smooth operation of the Perioperative department.
* You will apply advanced nursing practices in planning, implementing, and evaluating care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
* Provide a support role to all members of the nursing team, acting as a role model and resource person within the clinical area.
* Lead and direct the department to complement the strategic direction, operational processes, budget, and business direction of the unit and hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality patient outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements:
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Strong clinical skills and leadership abilities.
