Job Title: Health and Workplace Safety Specialist
This role is part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for managing workplace risks, promoting employee wellbeing, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development and implementation of national strategies to manage and improve safety, security, and wellbeing.
* Provide expert advice on matters including editorial and broadcast risks, health, wellbeing, ergonomics, psychosocial risks, driving, office-related injuries, and fatigue.
* Maintain injury management procedures and collaborate with service providers to address workers compensation related matters.
* Continuously improve return to work programs and serve as an internal point of contact for injury management support.
Requirements:
* Coordinating and delivering workplace safety and wellbeing initiatives.
* Injury management and return to work program coordination.
* Building effective relationships with stakeholders across teams, departments, or organizations.
* Proven ability in coordinating and delivering health and wellbeing programs.
* Proven capability in developing return to work approaches and risk and injury prevention assessments.
* Sound vendor management skills and experience with occupational health and safety software.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
