Job Description
Reporting directly to the Conference & Events Manager, your strong administration skills and precise eye to detail will ensure the smooth running of our Conference and Events department.
What you'll be doing:
1. Assist in the preparation and follow up of conference proposals
2. Actively listen to clients and understand their needs
3. Assist with the formulation of quotations for conference proposals covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs
4. Coordination and production of conference collateral material
5. Collaborate with multiple hotel departments for each events' success
6. Type correspondence, memos, Banquet Event Orders (BEO's), Daily Event Sheet, Forecast and reports as assigned and distribute according to Hotel standards.
Qualifications
1. Superior time management and organisational skills, including ability to work under pressure with competing deadlines
2. Excellent attention to detail and methodical organisational skills
3. Initiative to seek solutions strategically where problems exist
4. Service driven
5. A creative flair to assist with design of conference collateral
6. Working knowledge of Opera Cloud (desirable)
