Aircraft Maintenance Specialist
An experienced Aircraft Maintenance Specialist is required to perform complex maintenance tasks on airframe and power plant systems. Key responsibilities include:
1. Maintaining and repairing flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
2. Applying technical knowledge to diagnose equipment malfunctions and restore equipment condition and operation.
3. Providing guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.
4. Conducting and supervising aircraft technical inspections, computing basic weight and balance records, and participating in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.
5. Ensuring compliance with aircraft configuration control, army oil analysis program, and test measuring diagnostic equipment calibration.
6. Performing scheduled inspections, assisting in performing special inspections, and troubleshooting aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment as required.
7. Using and performing operator maintenance on tools, special tools, and aircraft ground support equipment.
8. Requiring a comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components.
9. Must possess the experience and ability to provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers alike must possess excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule.
10. Required valid up-to-date A&P license and shall have five years aviation maintenance experience, five years rotary wing aircraft experience.
