About the Role As a Principal Environmental Consultant, you will be the technical lead for environmental impact assessment and approvals projects in NSW. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of environmental, ecological, and contaminated land specialists, you’ll lead projects from inception to delivery while building strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), Scoping Reports, REFs, SEEs, and Management Plans. Coordinate day-to-day project management, including client liaison, specialist sub-consultants, and team members. Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest technical standard. Mentor and provide guidance to junior approvals and planning staff. Contribute to business development and growth opportunities for the team in NSW. Represent the company externally through industry forums and networking opportunities. About You REAP accredited (Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner) or actively working towards REAP accreditation. Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or Urban Planning. Minimum 15 years’ experience in environmental consulting, with a strong focus on approvals and planning. Proven track record in managing complex approvals projects across sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure, transport, mining, and urban development. Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability and willingness to travel for project and client needs. Why This Role?
