The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing health, safety, and environment processes within the organization to ensure compliance with business and governmental standards. The role prioritizes zero harm to employees and focuses on continuous improvement of HSE initiatives through collaboration with stakeholders and promoting a safety-first operational culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and Maintaining a Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System
* Ensuring a Robust Integrated Management System in Partnership with Stakeholders
* Developing, Implementing, and Maintaining Site Safety Rules
* Creating Environmental Policies, Procedures, and Processes in Line with ISO14001 Requirements
* Supporting the Organization to Meet HSE Regulatory Requirements
* Fostering a Strong Safety Culture through Behavioral Awareness Programs (Zero Harm Approach)
* Facilitating Incident Investigations and Implementing Corrective Actions
* Performing Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments to Support SOPs and Activities
* Conducting Regular Site Inspections and Audits, Leading Continuous Improvement Processes
* Overseeing and Reporting on Key HSE KPIs (Local & Global)
* Developing HSE Training Content and Delivering it to Relevant Teams
Expected Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have experience as a Health, Safety, and Environment Coordinator or Officer. Your skills and qualifications will be assessed based on your answers to the following questions:
