Maintenance Fitter Role
Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter for a full-time, permanent position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive tradesperson who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping machinery and production lines running safely and reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment.
* Rapidly troubleshoot and rectify mechanical faults to minimize downtime.
* Maintain and repair conveyors, fillers, vertical form fill seal machines, auger fillers, and more pneumatics and automated systems processing and packaging machinery.
* Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers.
* Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of machinery.
* Accurately complete work orders, maintenance logs, and service documentation.
* Ensure all tasks meet strict food manufacturing safety and hygiene (GMP) standards.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and plant reliability initiatives.
