What you'll be doing
You will deliver high-quality neuropsychological services to children and adolescents (ages 2–18) presenting with complex mental health, developmental and neuropsychological needs. As part of a tertiary referral service, you will provide specialist assessment, formulation, consultation and intervention to support young people, their families, and partner services.
* Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments for behavioural, emotional and psychiatric presentations
* Diagnose Neurodevelopmental Disorders and offer clear, evidence-based recommendations
* Interpret the interaction between cognitive functioning and mental health to inform treatment planning
* Provide targeted neuropsychological interventions in both individual and group formats
* Contribute to service development through supervision, training, research and quality initiatives

Essential Requirements:
* License: Current Class C drivers licence, P1 or P2 acceptable, and willingness to travel for work
* Qualification: Accredited Post-graduate Masters or Doctorate Degree in Clinical Neuropsychology
* Registration: Full registration as Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA and endorsement in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology
Selection Criteria:
* Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Neuropsychology and current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Clinical Neuropsychologist.
* Extensive post-graduate experience in neuropsychological assessment for children and adolescents with complex mental health issues, including diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and to develop and maintain effective partnerships and provide specialist consultation to a range of key stakeholders.
* Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit the target audience including the ability to communicate in a sensitive and professional manner with patients and staff.
* Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive support and education on neuropsychological issues to all stakeholders.
