About the Role
We're on the hunt for a vibrant and detail-driven Weddings & Events Executive to bring unforgettable experiences to life at The Sebel Yarrawonga.
In this dynamic role, you'll manage the end-to-end coordination of a variety of events – with a special focus on weddings and private functions – while also supporting corporate and community events across the property. You'll work closely with clients, internal departments, and external vendors to ensure every event reflects our high standards and leaves a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver a wide range of events including weddings, social functions, conferences, and corporate gatherings.
• Be the dedicated contact for wedding clients – guiding them through the entire journey, from enquiry to ceremony and reception.
• Develop detailed event plans including timelines, floor plans, run sheets and supplier coordination.
• Collaborate with internal departments (food and beverage teams, front office, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure seamless execution.
• Manage on-the-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and every detail is taken care of.
• Support the Conference and Events Manager in building and nurturing vendor and client relationships.
• Continually look for ways to elevate our events offering through creative ideas and trend insights.

About You
• Proven experience in events coordination, ideally with a strong background in weddings and/or hospitality.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills – you're approachable, professional, and calm under pressure.
• Highly organised with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• A creative thinker with an eye for detail and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and event-driven schedules as required.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating magical moments.
