The Sub-Acute and Aged Services clinical team at the Royal Hobart Hospital provides comprehensive care options for individuals requiring Older Person Acute Care, Sub-Acute Care, Rehabilitation, and Palliative Care services.
This role is a key leadership position within the team, responsible for providing effective management and oversight of the clinical services within Sub-Acute and Aged Services. As Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be accountable for achieving defined objectives and providing high-quality advice and support to the Nursing Director.
* Strategic Leadership: Provide contemporary nursing leadership in a complex environment, utilizing knowledge of national and state health issues to drive outcomes and improvements.
* Nursing Expertise: Possess comprehensive knowledge and application of current nursing issues relevant to Sub-Acute and Aged Services, including legislation, standards, and policies affecting clinical practice.
* Team Collaboration: Contribute effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary senior management team, managing physical, financial, and human resources under a clinical service model.
