We are seeking a skilled Payroll and Accounts Administrator to join our team on a 12-16 month maternity contract. Based in Beenleigh, QLD, this role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in accounts, payroll, and systems management.
Your responsibilities will include:
 * Handling accounts payable and receivable, debtor/creditor queries, and monthly bank reconciliations
 * Preparing monthly/statutory compliance tasks (BAS/PAYG/Super/Payroll Tax)
 * End-to-end payroll processing on a fortnightly basis (30 employees)
 * HR administration responsibilities such as new starters, employment agreements, and payroll queries
 * Task relating to on-site works including client-initiated inductions, travel bookings, and service invoices
 * Booking services for vehicle maintenance as required
 * Reporting and handling insurances including workcover and vehicles
Required Skills and Qualifications

 * Highly efficient organisational and time management skills with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
 * Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy
 * Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
 * Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner
 * High level of competency for managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, quarterly BAS and Monthly PAYG, payroll and superannuation including staff reimbursements using MYOB
 * Ability to interpret Awards with good understanding of payroll legislation
 * Intermediate ability with Microsoft Office Suite & MYOB
 * Capable to quickly learn new information, processes, and procedures
 * Experience with online banking payment processing preferable but not essential
