A growing company in the professional services industry is seeking a proactive Client Manager to join its Gild Tax team and work with amazing clients. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and experience in Public Practice.
About the Role:
* The Client Manager will manage their own client list and be responsible for preparing annual financial statements and income tax returns.
* They will also conduct tax planning, offer general and business structuring advice, and advise on various tax and accounting issues.
This role requires a proactive, organised and hands-on individual who can develop excellent working relationships with staff and clients, ensuring our client engagement is maintained to a high standard.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary Accounting Qualifications with CPA or CA
* Minimum of 3 to 6 years experience in Public Practice
* Strong business acumen with problem solving creativity
* Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure
* Self motivated with a desire to learn
* Strong relationship building skills
* Very good communication skills
* Tech savvy and able to adapt to new systems
* Advanced experience with accounting software (Xero experience is preferred)
