The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially astute and operationally strong Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the executive leadership team. This is a newly defined role, combining commercial growth leadership with hands-on operational oversight across our national network.
Working closely with the CEO, the COO will play a pivotal role in:
* Driving branch performance and profitability
* Embedding operational best practices across the network
* Supporting the growth and onboarding of new offices
* Leading national sales, marketing, and business development initiatives
* Ensuring compliance and governance standards are consistently met
This role will directly influence the success of their branches, helping them achieve sustained growth and profitability, while delivering on the company's broader strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coach branch leaders
* Implement sales processes, KPIs, and CRM discipline to drive performance
* Partner with the CEO on strategic planning and execution of the 5-year growth agenda
* Oversee onboarding and deliver early success through fast-start programs
* Provide strategic input into marketing, brand positioning, and service innovation
* Build strong industry and client relationships
About You
We're looking for a proven recruitment sales leader who brings:
* 10+ years' experience in Sales & Operations leadership - ideally in recruitment, labour hire, and multi-site service industries
* A strong track record of driving commercial outcomes across distributed networks
* High-level influencing and coaching capability
* Strategic and commercial acumen, balanced with a hands-on, pragmatic leadership style
* Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce (MBA highly regarded)
* Flexibility to travel nationally as required
